Cala Escorxada
South coast, near Santo Tomas
If you make the effort to find it, Cala Escorxada will reward you with beautiful views, fine white sands and crystal-blue seas. It’s a superb place for nude sunbathing, not least because it is so far off the beaten track that only a very few hardy types go there.
It’s an hour’s hard walk from Santo Tomas via the twists and occasionally perilous turns of the Cami de Cavalls, or is easily reached by boat – plenty of room to moor up and swim to shore.

How to get there It’s a long walk! Escorxada can be reached either via Binigaus, near Santo Tomas, or from Cala Mitjana, near Cala Galdana. Follow the Cami de Cavalls footpath for around an hour in either case and you will be rewarded at the end of your trek… It’s not a journey for the faint-hearted, however, with some tricky climbs and steep drops
